Outside is my Favourite Place

We got new old patio furniture last week. Clover and I spent a good chunk of Friday painting it. Well, I painted the furniture; Clover painted me. Its brown, not normally my favourite colour, but I was incapable of making a decision at the time, so I let Clover pick. Its called Gingerbread House. Her room is Banana Split. Someday I'm going to regret letting her choose the paint because it has an appetizing name.

Since we got said patio firniture, we've had breakfast and dinner outside every day. I love it so much! I used to have my coffee sitting on the back steps, then I upgraded(?) to a plastic chair. But now Clover and I (and Evan, too) both have a place to sit. I got to sit and read a magazine the other morning with my coffee sans whining, crying, or begging and pleading to watch TV. I could definitely get used to this.

Sometime in the next few days, I'll make cushions, take photos and post a pic of my new favourite room.

So after a lot of hemming and hawing, and thinking and talking, I have finally taken the plunge. No new photos so here's one of Clover wearing the first dress I ever made for her.
